Christmas and Vacation

Christmas

This Christmas, I am home ! Enjoying Turkey Dinner with salad, Roast Beef, Oxtail Soup and seeing everyone again. Its a warm and fuzzy feeling to be with family again !

Christmas is also good with the Barker Boys..... Overdose of Pasta, Salad and this year we have fried Wantons ! And a very delicious cocktail / drink prepared by Jat !

Vacation

I am leaving for Taiwan in T-Minus 16 hours ! And I will not be back till the 2nd Enjoy the new year !

Its not a movie night..

Today is NOT a movie night....

We cannot get tickets for all 4 movies we didn't mind watching..
TONIGHT ! IT IS NOT A MOVIE NIGHT !

URRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH !

BUT I remembered because;

I forgot how busy Orchard Road gets on a Saturday Night in Singapore.
I forgot how crazy hard it is to get 3 movie tickets for a chick-flick on a Sat Night
I forgot how good Thai Food taste and how a small and simple bowl of green curry can make me smile again.

Today, I feel like I am back home in Crowded, Busy Asia.

Familiar Sounds

I missed some, I just heard some.

For the past 10 days, my house has been really really quiet. I am the only person at home, my parents were away in Beijing with my sister. It has been a while since my family is back under one roof. Sis and I took turns being away from home and today we are all back and here to stay for a while....

I miss the quietness, I miss the 10 days of living on my own again. I miss a quiet room.

I moved offices and to a bright new yellow room but I miss the sounds of the old office. the crazy laughter, the sound of hectic-ness, the sounds of familiar people and the regular 'words of wisdom', the loud blaring DVD playing on repeat on the other side of the wall. i miss the familiar ' ding dong, how can i help you'. i miss the loud funny jokes streaming from the trainer's room and the 'difficulties' we have speaking and translating in chinese, the sound of a paper ball flying my way from winnie... i even miss the confusion of 'serene and celine' 'celine and ''celine'' '. its a strange feeling...

SICK

I am confined to bed... Simply sick the past couple of days.. My headache is stopping me form doing anything, from thinking, reading and even watching TV... craziness !

Home with Yellow Walls

I moved to a new office with bright yellow walls...




My desk is more cluttered and I have less table space but its ok.
Pictures are still up, maps and my ipod is still playing away.
The airconditioning is colder here..

I have a little corner of the office..where I have once again created 'home'.
