Reboot and Happy Chinese New Year

Tradition has it that children should stay up as long as they can on the eve of Chinese New Year to bring longevity and good health to their parents. Its almost 3am... I am still awake... ( partly because I dont have to go to work tomorrow, partly because I took a long nap in the afternoon, partly I have this nagging belief in 'staying up' for my parent and partly I have too many things on my mind.

I heard about Janine L. accident today (May God Bless and Keep her). I hope Justin is not too upset. I wish I am in Vancouver somehow to help. Together with Mel. T, Roi and Andrea we will send flowers to the wake. I remember each time I stay over at Justin's place in Vancouver, i will be able to see Janine happily walking into the basement, each time with a smile on her face. A very sweet girl.... ah.. she will be missed. ( I believe God has greater plans for her )

HAPPY YEAR of the RAT to all my chinese friends. ( and non chinese friends too! )

To pass time, I was surfing YouTube and I found REBOOT ! And I firmly believe my geeky-ness started when I was 13 ( 1995 was when it aired in Singapore at 5.30pm Mondays and Wednesdays ) The entire cartoon revolves around a place called 'mainframe' with little creatures representing 1s or 0s running around the place. Listen carefully and you will hear more geeky terms. Megabyte, downtime, servers, there is a old 'Readme file', bad files in every sector !..... ah. everything is geeky...... I've added episode 1. And the GEEK shall retreat to more episodes of REBOOT online

Oh shit, I remember this show. But for some reason I remember all the characters but none of the plot. Except maybe the incoming game part. Haha, we're such geeks.
