Too many things
A torn Cornea
yup... that thin piece of membrane in your eyes. Credit and Kudos to the guy that refused to sell me my new supply of contacts lenses. First, he made sure that i have to go through my eye checkup for new supply, then, he insisted that i make 2 trips to the washroom to remove my contacts in a clean fashionable manner, and he did not sell me out for a small amount of commission, he refused to hand over my contacts when he found something not quite right with my right eye.
so.. later that night, i had much difficulty sleeping and much difficulty keeping my eyes closed or open. geeeez.. i admitted myself to A & E department at the Singapore General Hospital this morning and found out that my cornea in my right eye has abrasions and i will have to keep off contacts for a couple of weeks.
Also, i have to dillgently put eye drops in my eye every 3 hours, that means i have to get up in the middle of the night.
to be honest, this incident has been quite an experience for me.... hee hee...
A week at my new job !
All i can say for now is that i work at a very cool place, 43rd floor over looking the Singapore Skyline, Singapore River and another window even faces the National Stadium. I am lucky to have a window view seat...
I love the atmosphere at work. Loud and Bright Shirts Friday ? I bet my company is the only one that does it !
People are fun and they love to crack silly jokes. Even on a sleepy raint tuesday morning.
Celine : Good Morning !
Mr K : Good Morning !
Celine : I didnt see you yesterday, out for a meeting ?
Mr K : No, i wasnt feeling well
Celine : Awww.. what happened ?
Mr K : I was throwing up all day, I think I've got cancer !
Celine : Laughs.. Dont be silly.
A weekend in Thailand
So.. i spend another weekend in thailand and acquired 11 pairs of new shoes, 3 skirts, 4 tops, belts, accessories and tonnes of others ! Good trip, Thanks Janine and Yvonne for their companionship !

i am working a new gig too and one that will see me covering Tokyo mainly but definitely Singapore and Hong Kong.
here's hoping for the chance to have a few business trips to singapore!
