Talk about being stupid..

As some of you might already know, I am a regular blood donor. Every few months I drop by the blood bank and contribute to the reserves. My Mum and Dad does not agree with this behavior but I do it anyways. My sister Celeste does the same. We recognise the value of giving blood and I have since come to love donating blood.
I have been donating blood since I was 17. I have donated blood so many times now that I dont feel any difference after each donation. April 7th. Happily I walked into the blood bank, got tested for blood pressure, right amount of iron in my blood, right weight, have not taken any medication, have not got any dental work done or ear piercing or tatoos. I am ALL set to go.
I donated 1 pint of B+ blood. Apparently, its rare here in Canada.
46% of Canadians are Type O
42% of Canadians are Type A
9 % are Type B
3% are Type AB
That's not the point, point is, everything went well. While waiting for my bus, I actually had 10 minutes to spare so I went to Blockbuster and got a movie that I have been dying to see for a long time BACKDRAFT. A must watch.
I went home, feeling really tired ( DUH ). Didn't have much of an appetite for Dinner but had some anyways.. saw the hottub and thought.. how nice if I can procrastinate for 10 minutes and just sit inside for a while. Stupidly, I did ! Totally forgotten that I lost 1 pint of blood today and totally forgot the reason why I was tired !
You can guess what happened ?
Stupid Me ! I got out of the tub, got down 4 slippery wet, cold steps from the Hot Tub to my bathing robe. Felt soo dizzy I had to sit on the deck chair for another 20 minutes. And my dizzy-ness didnt go away ! I managed to get myself a glass of water and crashed on the couch... within seconds... I fell asleep / fainted... I don't know which. Got up half an hour later, I can literally hear my body cursing and swearing at me. My brain is punishing me too. I took a cold shower, went straight to bed.
I should have known better, I have first aid knowledge, basic health knowledge, 16 times of blood donation history, countless books I read on keeping myself safe, learnt from past fainting spells experience ( ya.. i use to faint when I was younger )
Got up 3 hours later... ( which is now..) ...my brains are still experiencing a floating sensation and feels like there are LOT of air in my head.
Every now and then , I hear the occasional blonde joke, AIRHEADS, silly, stupid blah blah blah. Today... I finally understood the equation;
AIRHEAD = Stupid = Silly = Celine
JUST for today, 7th April. I am stupid... Fortunately.. there is 2 minutes left before April 8th rolls in.
