Someone

someone asked me about blogging..why blog ? ha ha ha interesting discussion..

Another
someone made me think about AIESEC,
someone made me explain AIESEC
I gave the run-down about AIESEC, what we do .. blah blah...
after 4 years... its permanently embossed on my forehead.
I think I did well.. coz a stranger saw the value of AIESEC today...

Its 5.24am.. instead of going to bed. I sat under my blanket thinking about AIESEC..
What it stands for and what it meant to me.
I read on nomadlife's mainpage today and I saw a line that says : take 18 of the world youngest, smartest leaders and put them in one building... (something to this extend)..
I re-thought AIESEC and what I have learnt in from it. How I have changed as a person..
How AIESEC has amongst other things taught me Passion and Dedication.
It sparked and fueled young people around the world to challenge themselve, to create change, cope with change and be the change.
We learnt to see things in another perspective and we learn that its ok to be different.
We grow to appreciate things foreign to us...
To lead and to follow..
Most of all.. how every AIESECer has put out 200% of his / her time ( while attending school and work ) to volunteer.
some aiesecers may never go for an exchange with AIESEC but we learn time management, tolerance, leadership and maybe just a little more faith in the world, just a little more hope that the world is not so jaded afterall..

Today.. my definition of AIESEC has changed..today.

How do you explain what AIESEC is to someone who resents it without knowing what it is? *sigh*

Celine, you are so right. There is a lot of value in AIESEC - if only I could share it!
