My first birthday card..

is an electronic one ( yeah for geeks ! ) is from my beloved and irritating sister ( you might have read the post on her ).
I know she took the effort to create one on Hallmark and I received it 2 hours 22 minutes before midnight ( she is on Singapore Time ). it popped up on my email the minute she sent it. BUT... when I clicked on the link to retrieve my card.. its says : "Our apologies
Hallmark.com is temporarily offline for maintenance.
We want to make sure our site is the best it can be,
so we're doing a bit of house cleaning. We expect
to be back online shortly. "

Bummer ! WTF ?
After my sister's email, I got one from my aunt and godma. THANKS you guys !

Anyways... I didn't blog yesterday simply because I was caught up in doing chores and also studying for my finals... SIGH !

I have been thinking about Volunteer Management for quite a few nights and I have come to realise that I do have a lot of ideas and a lot of things to say on that topic which I will save for a later post.

DREAMS

Do you dream ? In colour ? every night ? can you remember the dream ? Does it relate to what has happened in the day ? Deja Vu ?

I dream, everynight.. i think this explains why I sleep-talk sometimes ( thus the reason why i prefer to not sleepovers at other people's places because I cannot promise that I will not let out other secrets.., I sleep over at my best friends coz I dont keep secrets from her, I share the room with my sister just because she is too deep in sleep to realise that I am sleep-talking...)

BUT the point is..... I dream in colour and yes, I wake up every morning remembering what I dreamt the night before... call me crazy but I have come to the conclusion that my brain NEVER fully rest coz I am thinking in the day and at night in my dreams ! So.. I hope I have enough brain cells to last me for the next 50 years or so..

I have also came to a conclusion that if one sleeps next to a laptop / computer that is switched on.( By next, I mean less than 50cm away, my table is next to my bed! Dont call me crazy ! ) One will have strange dreams... I have been experimenting my theory for 21 days now.. on the 11 days that I slept with my ibook turned on and next to me and downloading stuff.. I have dreams that are totally out of the world and strange ! CRAZY ! E.g me going sky-diving with bubble wrap so I will lessen the impact of landing ! or rolling in bright orange coloured paint ! [ yes.. its was some paint ball related event and I thought if i were to be covered from head to toe in paint, on one would attack me, coz I am already covered in paint ! makes sense ? ] I told you the dreams were strange !

On the 10 days that I do not sleep with the laptop on, I have normal dreams... or rather, less strange... E.g. cooking and making sushi ( that led to a really big breakfast ) or dreaming about being back home in Singapore.

With the wireless on, I think I might even more 'messed-up' dreams ! You think ? Try my theory and let me know..
