At my best friend's place
I am staying at Sai's today. Its been a while since we talk all night, have some girl fun, cook some really delicious meal. Just Sai and I. We miss hanging out with each other. We both have a tonne of work to do and both of us are just slackers. Its 43 minutes past 4am and we are still up doing work... But working together beats having to work alone on a cold night.
Temperature outside is dancing around 1-4 degrees today. Right now, weather channel is reporting a lonely ONE degree ! Freeze ! Just as I am getting ready for summer with my summer skirts and shorts. The temperature dropped again.
Hanging out with Sai is always fun. Singing to the songs that are playing, talked a little about life, relationships, boys ( what's new ), being geeky ( that's me ). She made me laugh so hard in the last 20 minutes !
4.02am : Sai tried to sing along with the radio. She sang one verse wrong.. well not wrong but she got confused with the first verse and the second. She actually had the nerve to say that the Original artist sang wrongly !
4.08am : She tried to do the " What age do you act" Quiz and she is 28 ! old !!! We found out what FAO Schwuz is ... ooo... New York Fifth Ave Shop !
4.15am : Sai offered me some gummi bears. It is a Christmas present from Jenny ! And the gummi bears are at least 6 months old ! She said : Dont chew them, they are really tough ! Its a gummi bear and its 6 months old !
4.19am : Shania Twain's song - 'Don't ' is playing on Ocean 98.5 FM. Sai's immediate reaction was " Are you listening to your country radio again ?" Shania Twain ... well.. a little country but its the first 'country-like' song we heard all night !
Found an old friend today
i met Sabelo online on MSN... I miss talking to him and I miss this really GREAT person since he went to work for Fairmont at Lake Louise ! Sab was my first friend from South Africa. I love talking to this guy ! good mind, good sense of humor and hanging out with Sab is always fun. Sab is a little older than me and for some strange reason, I always look up to him like a older brother. Good advice he use to give me... Sab, if you are reading this, i think you should move back to Victoria !
I am planning a roadtrip to go visit Sab this summer ! See you there !
